CONGRATULATIONS

Our Bishop has selected Bob Desrosiers as this years’ recipient of the Marion Medal. Bob has served our faith community for over 20 years as a strong supporter of our parishioners Spiritual Growth. He began spiritual growth groups 20 years ago and our present Friday Night Video Series which he leads is a continuation of that ministry. He used the same skills and energy as Director of our Parish RENEW program in 2002. Join us in congratulating Bob downstairs in the Church hall after the 11:00 AM Mass.

St. Mary’s/St. Stephen’s Alliance

Your alliance team met November 5th and continued their planning work to promote mutual beneficial working relationships between the two parishes and greater interpersonal relationships among the parishioners. Their area of focus is liturgy, communications, youth and social activities. The plan is scheduled to be completed by January 1, 2009.
Christmas Bazaar

Our Pastor, Fr. Morse (L) and St. Mary’s Pastor, Fr. Rita (R) chat with Santa at our gala Christmas event. This year’s celebration was even more spectacular with the addition of new decorations and more valuable prizes. This of course was due to the many dedicated parishioners who gave generously of their time, talents and enthusiasm. This all came together because of the wonderful leadership of Sue Donovan who begins her fifth year as chairperson. A big “Thank You” to all.

The next meeting of our Parish Council will be held on Monday, Nov. 17th, 7:00 PM.
